Opening their doors in 2003, owners Ed Brown and Ellen Nally Brown had a passion to offer a quaint, yet exciting, Irish style pub with excellent local and Irish entertainment.
Of the many accolades received over the years, they are proudest of their 'Taste of the Town' awards from the annual Taste of Hingham foodie celebration — voted by the people as best in the land. Their secret-recipe marinated sirloin tips are a must try when visiting The Snug.
Known as the 'Home of the Perfect Pint', The Snug features a state-of-the-art European draft beer system second to none, awarded the prestigious Guinness Gold Standard Award for the highest possible standards in manufacturing and production.
